Permits usually take 24-48 hours to obtain, in jurisdictions like British Columbia. The cost of the permit depends on the type of work needed to install the SmartWall in the dwelling.

LiFePO4 batteries are known for their safety and stability, as they are less likely to overheat, explode or cause a fire. They also have a longer lifespan. LiFePO4 batteries are often chosen for applications where safety and longevity are paramount, such as in home backup power units. LI batteries are also hazardous materials, which can cause problems when exposed to human skin, or severe issues if swallowed, and can be dangerous if they end up in landfills. LiFeP04 batteries are non toxic and made from more common materials.

IONiX batteries are designed and certified for indoor environments and engineered with minimal noise output to ensure they don’t disturb the household. Usually any hum or small sound comes from an inverter, which is very low in noise too. A noise level of 38 dB for the Megarevo hybrid inverter that IONiX provides, is quite low and would be considered quiet. To give some perspective, 38 dB is slightly quieter than a typical library (around 40 dB) and similar to the soft hum of a refrigerator or the sound of leaves rustling. In most residential settings, this noise level would likely be unobtrusive.

The ideal location for installing your SmartWall unit is indoors in a temperature-controlled, ventilated space, where it will be safe from accidental impact. Ideally as close to the electrical panel as possible as well.
