Frequently Asked Questions

A Level 1 charger is equivalent to a standard 15-amp, 120-volt outlet commonly found in homes. Charging an EV battery with this type of charger can take between 12 to 20 hours. In contrast, a Level 2 charger operates at 240 volts, which is double the voltage of a Level 1 charger. Depending on the specific charger, it can range from 20 to 100 amps. Charging times with a Level 2 charger typically range from 6 to 14 hours.
